Revenue Leak Lab respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

1. Who is responsible for your information

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • your name, email address, telephone number and contact details;
  • your business name, role, website and social-media profiles;
  • information about your offer, target market, marketing and sales systems;
  • aggregate lead, enquiry, conversion, sales and advertising statistics;
  • information submitted through audit, onboarding or guarantee forms;
  • payment, subscription and transaction information;
  • communications, feedback and support requests;
  • community posts and information shared during consulting calls;
  • recordings of calls where we have informed participants that recording will occur;
  • IP address, browser type, device information and general location;
  • pages viewed, links clicked, forms submitted and other website activity;
  • cookie and advertising identifiers; and
  • information supplied by service providers where permitted.

Payment-card details are generally processed by our payment provider rather than stored directly by us.

Please do not provide names, email addresses, telephone numbers or other identifying information about your customers or leads unless we specifically request it and you have authority to provide it. Use aggregate information and redacted screenshots wherever possible.

3. Why we collect information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide a free Revenue Leak Audit;
  • assess your business and prepare recommendations;
  • deliver paid services, consulting, resources and community access;
  • create and verify your qualified-lead baseline;
  • administer the Double Your Qualified Leads Commitment;
  • manage payments, subscriptions and cancellations;
  • communicate with you about your audit or service;
  • send relevant educational, promotional and follow-up emails where permitted;
  • personalise and improve our website and services;
  • understand website use and campaign performance;
  • measure advertising and create advertising audiences;
  • prevent fraud, misuse and security incidents;
  • enforce our Terms and protect our rights;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • produce aggregated or de-identified reporting and analysis.

Where information is required to provide an audit or paid service, failing to provide it may mean we cannot provide that service or apply the performance commitment.

4. Analytics, cookies and Meta Pixel

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

We use simple analytics to understand matters such as:

  • how visitors find the website;
  • which pages they visit;
  • how they interact with forms and links; and
  • whether advertising campaigns result in visits or enquiries.

We may also use the Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance, understand actions taken after a Meta advertisement and show more relevant advertisements.

The Meta Pixel may allow information such as your IP address, device and browser information, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and actions taken to be transmitted to Meta.

If advanced matching or similar features are enabled, contact information entered on the website may be transformed or hashed before being sent to Meta. We will update this Policy if our use of these features materially changes.

Meta processes information under its own terms and privacy policies.

Where required or where we provide a consent-management tool, non-essential analytics and advertising technologies will not operate until you have made the relevant choice.

You can reject or remove cookies through our cookie controls or your browser settings, although some website functions or advertising measurements may be affected.

5. Email communications

When you request an audit or purchase a service, we may send messages necessary to provide that audit or service.

We may also send educational or promotional emails where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law.

Commercial emails will identify the sender and include a functional unsubscribe option. You may unsubscribe at any time. Service-related messages that are necessary to administer an active purchase may still be sent.

6. Who we share information with

We may disclose relevant information to:

  • website hosting and technical-service providers;
  • payment and subscription providers;
  • email, CRM and marketing-automation providers;
  • analytics and advertising providers, including Meta;
  • community and video-conferencing platforms;
  • contractors who help deliver audits or services;
  • accountants, insurers, professional advisers and legal advisers;
  • regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where required; and
  • a purchaser or potential purchaser of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We only provide service providers with information reasonably required for their role.

We do not sell personal information.

7. Overseas processing

Some service providers may store or process information outside New Zealand.

Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected in a way consistent with applicable New Zealand privacy requirements, or rely on another permitted basis for the disclosure.

8. Storage and security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect information from loss, unauthorised access, misuse, alteration or disclosure.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your own account credentials and immediately notifying us of suspected unauthorised access.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, administering commitments, resolving disputes, keeping business records and satisfying legal obligations.

Information may be retained in backups for a limited period after deletion from active systems.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies an individual.

10. Access and correction

You may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it.

You may also request that inaccurate or incomplete personal information be corrected.

The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date.
