Revenue Leak Lab is operated by Signal Theory Limited, 14 Colonial Drive, Silverdale, Auckland, New Zealand. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@revenueleaklab.com.

Information we collect

When you buy from us, contact us or choose to receive our emails, the information needed may include:

We collect information directly from you and, where relevant, receive payment updates or email activity from the services listed below. You can choose not to provide information, but we may be unable to process an order, deliver the files or resolve a request without the necessary details.

For a performance-refund request, we need a brief description of the issue, the fix and your before-and-after results. Please remove customers’ names, email addresses and unrelated confidential information. Aggregated figures or a short worksheet are enough. Never email us card details, passwords or access credentials.

How we use it

We use information to process and deliver orders, send receipts and essential service messages, answer questions, assess refunds, keep business records, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations. Where you have given the required permission, we also use it to send Revenue Leak Lab tips and offers and measure how our marketing performs.

We do not treat buying the booklet or accepting these terms as blanket permission for promotional emails or advertising tracking.

Our planned service providers

Stripe - payments
Stripe will handle the payment information needed to process payments and refunds and help prevent fraud. It may process contact, billing, transaction and device information, including information entered before a payment is completed. We plan to use Stripe’s hosted payment fields so full card numbers and security codes are handled by Stripe rather than stored by us. Stripe also uses information as described in its Privacy Policy.
Kit - email
Kit will hold subscriber contact details and preferences and help us send emails. Its email features may record delivery, opens and link clicks to help measure performance. Any tracking that needs consent will be used only with that consent. See Kit’s Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
Meta Pixel - advertising
If enabled, Meta Pixel will share website visits and actions, together with relevant browser, device and cookie information, with Meta to measure campaigns and help deliver relevant advertising. Meta may associate this information with your Facebook or Instagram account and use it under its own Privacy Policy. Meta’s advertising and privacy controls are available through Accounts Center.
Google Analytics - website measurement
If enabled, Google Analytics will help us understand visits and how people use the website. Information can include cookies or similar identifiers, pages and interactions, approximate location, browser and device details. See Google’s explanation of Analytics data collection and its Privacy Policy.

We share information needed for these services and may share it with professional advisers or authorities when necessary to meet a legal obligation or protect lawful rights. We do not give email lists to other businesses for their unrelated email marketing.

Advertising, analytics and your choices

There are no advertising or analytics tags active on these booklet pages. Before we introduce optional tracking, we will provide the relevant notices and working controls to accept, reject or change your choice. Where consent is required, the tools will stay off until you give it. Refusing optional tracking will not prevent a purchase.

Some privacy laws describe sharing identifiers with advertising providers as a “sale”, “sharing” or targeted advertising even when no money changes hands. Where those laws apply to us, we will provide the required opt-outs and recognise applicable browser preference signals. Email us if you want to make a privacy request.

You can also manage cookies in your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Those tools have limits and do not replace any choices we are required to provide on this website.

Email preferences

Marketing signup will be a separate, optional choice. You can unsubscribe using the link in any promotional email or by contacting us. We will honour requests within the applicable legal timeframe. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary receipts, delivery messages or replies to a request you have made.

We may retain a minimal record of your opt-out so we do not add you back to marketing by mistake.

Storage, overseas processing and security

We are based in New Zealand. Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. We use appropriate contractual or other safeguards where required and remain responsible for the obligations that apply to us.

We take reasonable steps to protect information through access controls, secure services and limiting access to people who need it. No online service can promise absolute security.

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including support, accounting, tax, legal requirements and disputes. When it is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Some records may remain in backups until those backups are replaced through the normal retention cycle.

Access, correction and privacy complaints

You can ask what personal information we hold about you and request correction. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may also have rights to deletion, a copy of your information, withdrawal of consent or an opt-out from certain advertising uses.

Email hello@revenueleaklab.com with enough detail for us to understand your request. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond within the applicable legal timeframe, explain any lawful limitation and tell you about an appeal route where one applies. We will not penalise you for exercising a privacy right.

If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to New Zealand’s Office of the Privacy Commissioner or the relevant privacy authority in your country or state.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Where a change requires a new notice or permission, we will provide it rather than treating continued browsing as consent.
